I originally purchased one of these baskets to store some of my kids's toys in, as we don't have a wood burning fireplace to need it for firewood. It looks perfect with the other wrought iron scrollwork I have throughout my house, and its dimensions are generous enough to allow for ample storage.
Just today, I purchased 3 more from a local Target store, and I'm using them side by side as storage under my coffee table. They store stray toys that find their way downstairs, plus they hold extra pillows and blankets for those chilly nights. They're beautiful, incredibly sturdy, and wonderful storage alternatives.
